WHO WE ARE
CoSuDAf is a multi-disciplinary organization whose members are drawn from institutions of higher learning in Africa. Currently the membership is from Kenya, Nigeria and Ghana (Machakos University, Kenya; Taita Taveta University, Kenya; University of Nigeria, Nsukka; University of Mines and Technology, Ghana; University of Environment and Sustainable Development, Ghana).
To foster university collaboration and achieve sustainable development in African communities through the following ways:
a) Strengthening support for academic programs through mentoring, research and publications.
b) Developing interdisciplinary research projects for community development.
c) Establishing effective links between communities and universities with innovative, sustainable, livelihood outreach programs.
a) Creating research focused innovative consortium for academic collaboration between partner universities.
b) Developing joint research projects for community development in African countries.
c) Creating new research knowledge and paradigms to solve problems of resource curse in African countries.
d) Creating sustainable outreach projects for economic empowerment in mining communities in Africa.
WHAT WE DO
a) Writing of grant proposals

c) Co-supervision of and mentorship of students
d) Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Audits
e) Project Management Joint workshops/seminars/tutorials
THE TEAM
CoSuDAf is made up of a team of specialists in environmental rehabilitation/remediation, conservation, engineering, as well as economic development and resource management. The team is committed to providing professional and quality services to various clientele including community based empowerment groups and nature conservationists, research and educational based institutions among others. In addition to the team having a myriad of expertise and experience in environmental research and management, the consortium is a leading provider of environmental research and consulting and sustainability-related services.
For effective governance of the Consortium, the following members are currently holding these positions:
